Personalized Design & Strategy
We start by meeting at your home to measure the space and discuss your grand vision; the more ideas the better. It is our job to incorporate as many of your wishes as possible in a functional and cohesive design while remaining sensitive to your budget.
We will then meet to review the conceptual plan based on the scope of the work, making changes as necessary. This ensures you gain a fundamental understanding of the design before proceeding to any major selections.
We will also provide you with a realistic, preliminary budget for all aspects of the project upfront; no surprise expenses. No one at Auburn Watson earns a commission on sales. Our first and only commitment is to you.
Design Elements & Samples
Using the concept design, we present you with a detailed design, including floor plan, elevation plans and stylized perspective renderings.
We will then begin to select the design specifics, including cabinet styles and finishes, appliances, counter tops, flooring, and backsplash; all right from our showroom.
We will be with you throughout every step of the process, so we can make every decision together with confidence.
Custom Cabinetry
We offer various lines of both complete custom and semi-custom cabinetry. All of the cabinetry we offer meets our strict quality standards.
As former cabinet makers, we offer custom cabinetry designs and features that go beyond what the complete custom can offer. These things you will not find anywhere else, as they were independently and meticulously designed by the Auburn Watson’s founder, Vincent Watson decades ago.

Project Planning & Coordination
Before we begin work, we will provide you with various amenities in order to make your preparations and to lessen our impact on your home during the remodel. You will also meet the designated project foreman, so you can be familiar with who will be working in your home for the next few weeks. Additionally, this allows for the adequate preparation of materials for the start, including those used to isolate the workspace and protect the rest of your home from dust and debris.
We also create a Project Binder, which is a complete and detailed collection of the contact, drawings, specifications for every item incorporated into the remodel, and a project schedule. The Job Binder does not leave your home. It is for you, our staff and other subcontractors to reference to ensure that your remodel is done to our expectations and on schedule.
Trusted Full-Service Installation
Since all of the project’s work and oversight is conducted by our own staff, we are able to run every job to the highest efficiency. From the scheduled start date until the project’s completion, the project foreman and other craftsman will be at your home every day. You will never be asked to schedule a subcontractor or find that progress has been halted.
At Auburn Watson, we stand by our work. Should an issue arise, we promptly address all warranty claims personally; no need to recite appliance serial numbers, find a plumber or electrician, or be on hold with a 1-800 number — Just give us a call.
